Notes:

Outsplayed rim. Body roughly tear drop shape, with mould-blown horizontal band around middle and vertical band from middle to base. Two mould-blown monkeys sit at base, on opposite sides with arms and legs around vessel and sides of heads against vase. Heads face in opposite direction. Base is lozenge-shaped with pontil mark and ridge where mould was not snug. Pointed tool mark depression above one monkey’s head. One monkey head broken. Fabric blackened on interior.
