- Historical marker located at northeast corner of Water Street and University Drive. Michigan Central Railroad's former depot building is seen in photo background (Catching Fireflies gift shop at present). Lower portion of sign commemorates the Rochester Elevator (built in 1880 as the Griggs Grain Elevator), across street from marker on the southeast corner. 07/02/2009.
