Problems and possibilities for the formulation of a comprehensive communication policy for Liberia

Description:: This article examines the problems and possibilities of formulating a comprehensive national communication policy for Liberia. It analyses several difficulties that militate against the formulation of such a policy in the country. It notes, however, that as varied and complex as these problems are, there nevertheless exist some possibilities for evolving a comprehensive communication policy in the country. The article suggests a couple of concrete policy issues and measures that a comprehensive communication policy for Liberia needs to embody in light of the prevailing communications system and the development needs of the country.
