Act of March 4, 1917, Contract for the Construction of 100 Patrol Boats

Description:
A staple-bound contract form between the Ford Motor Company, and the U.S. Navy establishing the terms for the construction of 100 patrol boats, the Eagle Boats, dated March 4, 1917. The spaces on the first page where the date and the name of the representative of Ford would be entered, and on the seventh page where the parties would sign have been left blank. An illegiable handwritten note has been made in the margin at the bottom of the sixth page.
