- A copy of a document from the United States General Land Office detailing the sale of public lands to Stephen Shippey of Jefferson County, New York. The land in question is described as "the west half of the South West quarter of Section Twenty Two in Township Three North of Range Eleven East in the District of Detroit and Territory of Michigan containing Eighty Acres," and consists of what would become Avon Township.
