Portrait of Bernice Clifton and her seeing-eye dog, Karla. Clifton was a motivational speaker who talked about her blindness. She served in the Red Cross during World War II and spoke to the injured soldiers about life with a disability. She and Karla were the subjects of the book "Sight Unseen" and she was also the author of "None So Blind".
