Description:

Looking south on sidewalk. To the east, across South Washington Avenue is Arbaugh's department store at 401-423. Best view in this collection of Arbaugh's several units: main store, garden center, and housewares center. On the west side of the street, signs are seen for Morrissey's Factory Outlet shoes at 406 and Capitol Fur at 408 South Washington Avenue. The street continues south until it dips out of sight where it approaches the Grand River. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo.
