Rome; Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired)

Notes:
Reddish buff clay with red glaze. Short nozzle with straight sides extending across rim and converging toward the discus. On the broad rim is a raised vine pattern. Slightly raised band set off by grooves about plain discus. Handle broken off. Base, slightly raised, set off by circular groove. Stamp in incised letters too worn to be legible. Lamp is very worn in places, end of nozzle is chipped. At the base of the nozzle in the discus is a small hole either accidental or intended as an air hole.
