Jones Office

Description:

A circa 1930 photograph showing the building of doctors Seth and Freeman Jones in the center of the image. Their building was three floors, with a garden-level entrance, and stairs to a columned porch with an upper entrance. Left to right in the photograph are: The Bauch building (10+ floors, 115 West Allegan); Union Building and Loan Association (119-121 West Allegan); the Jones building (123 West Allegan) which was also home to both Jones families; the Stratton Insurance agency (125 West Allegan); and the Industrial Bank (127-131 West Allegan). Seth Jones was an eye, ear, nose, and throat specialist. Freeman Jones was a general physician/surgeon. Gift of the Jones family.
