Wanger REO Collection

Description:

This collection includes materials that reflect the history and products of the REO Motor Car Company. The materials have been divided into 14 series depending on the type of material. See Child Records field below for these series. Note: Some of the items in Mr. Wanger's bibliography are listed under two or more categories; in those cases the item was housed with the first category under which it was listed. The container lists include Collection ID numbers from Mr. Wanger's bibliography, which appear after the "#" mark at the end of each item title. The materials cover the years of 1904 to 2004, with most of the items dating from 1910 to 1960. Most of the collection consists of ephemera, with the addition of some artifacts. The bibliography provided by the donor lists the collection by categories and provides detailed descriptions of each item.
