Description:
One architectural drawing entitled "Thirty Apartment Building for Mr. William J. Burns, Detroit, Michigan." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a front elevation view and architectural details for a proposed 3-story apartment building that was located on Charlotte Avenue between Cass and Second Avenues in Detroit. The name, "Wilburne," is shown over the building entrance doorway. This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of eleven sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect, Detroit, Michigan." Some blue, green and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details. A red ink stamp on the lower right edge shows "Plans Examined and Approved, Mar. 2, 1916, Department of Buildings, City of Detroit, by H. C. Slater."
