Description:
Small sepia-toned photographic print captioned on the verso as "Mt. Elliot Ave. looking south from Grand Boulevard, March 10th, 1918." The view is along the center of Mount Elliot Avenue. Two sets of streetcar tracks run along the center of the street. Snow covers the ground. Several billboards are on the east side of the street. Those not obscured by utility poles advertise oil and tobacco. Behind them is a restaurant indicated by a sign which simply reads, "Eat.' Several homes and businesses are on the west side of the street as well. A young girl stands near a utility pole on the right. Two more pedestrians, and two automobiles are visible in the distance.
