Saint Casimir's School

Description:
One "Certificate of Admission to the Detroit High Schools." It is printed in "Old English" and cursive style text on white paper and also includes a decorative engraved design at the top and along the border. The certificate was issued by Saint Casimir's School and certified that "Albert C. Heyza has satisfactorily completed the Course of Study prescribed for the Eighth Grade of the St. Casimir's School and passed the regular examination for Admission to the High School." The certificate was signed by "Rev. Edward S. Maisel" and was dated June 22, 1924. A gold-colored embossed seal with a yellow/green ribbon is located in the lower left corner of the certificate. Small printed text near the lower border notes "Felician Sisters, Teachers," and also shows "20A: W. M. Welch, Diploma House, Chicago."
