Black and white photo of the interior of the Edison Building on the southeast corner of Washington Boulevard and State Street, taken during its conversion from the Edison Illuminating Company's Station A to the company's offices. Much of the interior has been gutted leaving girders exposed. Three workers pose amid piles of lumber and girders, while other workers on scaffolding work on the brickwork of the walls. A spiral staircase rises near the upper left corner of the frame. "Main Office - Progress - Reconstructing 2nd & 3rd Floors," and "M-5019 12-8-16." are printed along the bottom edge of the image.
