This photo was taken at the Tea Room of Herpolsheimers, located at 101-109 Monroe. Ladies in dresses and hats, and a few gentlemen, are seated around cloth-covered tables, set for tea or coffee and pastries. In the center of the room is a large, raised runway with stairs so that the audience can see the clothing the models are wearing. A lady stands to the right of the platform to announce what each model is wearing. In the background are tall windows with swagged drapery and several lamps hang from the coffered ceiling.
