Description:
Roster, "Soldier's Memorial," for the Detroit Montgomery Rifles, Company M of the Thirty-second Michigan Infantry, United States Volunteers in the Spanish-American War of 1898. The print shows a scene on the left of men leaving for war, a scene on the bottom of men fighting in battle, and a scene on the right of men returning home. The center of the print shows three columns comprising the roster of Company M, with the left and right columns listing enlisted men and the center column listing company officers, sergeants, corporals, musicians, artificer, wagoner, and the commanding colonel. A text box on the bottom of the print reads "Organized at Detroit, May 26, 1877, Mustered into the U.S. Service at Island Lake, Mich., May 13th, 1898." Text at bottom reads "Copyright 1898, By Fuller Brothers, Buffalo, N.Y."
