3. Women's dark brown satin pumps from the 1920s

Description:
A pair of woman's dark brown satin pumps, with a band of light brown satin that runs across top of shoes and down each side. The front flaps are covered with large steel bead buckles on front. 2 1/2" high heel. Label inside B. Siegel and Co., Detroit.

4. Women's grey suede, four strap bootines from the early twentieth century

Description:
A pair of woman's grey suede, four strap bootines with cut steel bead decoration on the front, and buttons across the instep. The shoes have a cut out section on the front of vamp, and are lined with white kid. Stamped: Sorosis. Purchased at Sorosis Shoe Shop in the David Whitney Building, from Mr. Henry Elliot, c. 1912-1915. They belonged to the donor's mother Jessie Alcorn Widner Colton (Mrs. Clark E. Colton), born February 14, 1870, married April, 1892, died December 4, 1953 (Tucson, Arizona). She lived at 4546 Commonwealth, Detroit. Mrs Colton was a member of the Louisa St. Clair Chapter-D.A.R. Founders and Patriots Society, Detroit.

7. Women's black leather sport shoes from the early twentieth century

Description:
Woman's black leather sport shoes. The low lace-up shoes have seven eyelets, a round toe, and a low heel. The sole is marked: Essex Shed-Wet. The tongue is marked in pen: B. Frederick, VZ, 6C. A similar pair is shown in the Ladies Home Journal, 1913. These shoes might have been worn with Women's Service Corps uniform .10.

Description:
This pair of woman's high laced, black kid shoes has Cuban heels. They are lined with white cotton. Lynn, Mass. Grover Comfort Street Shoe. Sole is stamped: Grover, Combination Comfort Shoe. Right shoe has tag: Frank and Seder Co., of Detroit. Original price tag of $8.95.

10. Women's black quilted satin boots from the early twentieth century

Description:
A pair of woman's black quilted satin boots, lined with pink. The boots have a knotted wool trim with silk cord laces, 2" high heels, and pointed toes. The soles are rubber covered leather. A Daniel Green number is tooled into the soles, and the number 345 is printed inside.
