- One map sheet entitled "Part of Wards 5, 7, 9 & 11." The map (Plate 6) covers an area bounded by the Detroit River on the south, Hastings Street on the west, Macomb Street on the north, and Joseph Campau Avenue on the east. It is drawn at a scale of 1 inch = 200 feet and is printed in black, green, pale red, and pale yellow ink. It shows streets, houses, lots, lot numbers, water mains, commercial buildings, factories, and railroads. The map sheet was part of the "Atlas of the City of Detroit and Suburbs" which was published in 1885 in New York by Elisha Robinson and Roger H. Pidgeon.

- Brochure booklet giving Michigan Central Railroad routes into Detroit for the Knights of Pythias Biennial Conclave as well as information about the host city; cover has the Knights of Pythias emblem at the top with "Knights of Pythias Biennial Conclave at Detroit August 27 to September 1, 1900" beneath; below that is a picture of an angel holding a plaque that reads "Michigan Central The Niagara Falls Route" and "The Direct Route to Detroit From the East, West, North, and South" next to it. The back cover bears a Missouri Kansas Texas Railway Company stamp.

- One map entitled "Partie Occidentale du Canada et Septentrionole de la Louisiane avec une Partie de la Pensilvanie [Western Part of Canada and Northernmost Louisiana with a Part of Pennsylvania]." The map is printed in black ink on a slighty yellowed paper. Some red and green ink has also been used to highlight boundaries and topographic features. It was drawn by Jean Baptiste Bourguignon d'Anville and was published by Paolo Santini of Venice, Italy, in 1775. The map covers the area from the Mississippi River valley eastward to the eastern edge of Lake Ontario and from the Ohio River valley northward to Lake Alemenipigon [Nipigon] and the south shore of James Bay. The names of principal lakes, rivers, forts, towns, and Indian tribal regions are shown in French along with lines of latitude and longitude.

- April 1885 issues of the newsletter Y.M.C.A. Monthly Bulletin published by the Detroit Y.M.C.A. The cover cautions, "Detroit, No. of Young Men, 23,000. No. of churches, less than 100. No. of saloons, over 1,000. An increase in saloons in 12 months of 275. Looking at it in this light do you think that any active organization on the side of Right should go out of existence?" A Y.M.C.A. building in Montreal is pictured on the cover, and one in Boston is pictured on the second page. Several letters from around the country to L.F. Newman, the General Secretary of the Detroit Y.M.C.A. discussing the organization's importance are on the first two pages as well. The third page contains a list of donors and their gifts for a "new Y.M.C.A. home," as well as a calendar of upcoming events including lectures and concerts. Advertisements are on the back page

- Black and white print of an engraving captioned "The Great Billiard Match Between M. Phelan and J. Seereiter at Detroit - Appearance of the Firemen's Hall on the Evening of the Match, from a sketch taken on the spot," from the April 23, 1859 issue of Franke Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper. The engraving depicts the billiard match between J. Seereiter, from Detroit, and M. Phelan, from New York City, which took place at Detroit's Firemen's Hall on April 12, 1859. The engraving shows the men playing billiards in the center, with a large crowd of spectators watching. Two chandeliers hanging above the billiards table and several paintings on the wall can also be seen inside the Firemen's Hall. The print is mounted on cardboard. The verso of the cardboard mount has taped to it a brief article about the billiards match.

- Color map titled "A New Map of Michigan with its Canals, Roads & Distances," published by Thomas, Cowperthwait & Co. in 1850. The map shows the state of Michigan with each different colored block representing a different county. The title block and it located on the upper right corner of the map, under which are boxes which list "Steam Boat Routes" and the distance from "Detroit to Fort Howard." The title block also contains the legend, which indicates the symbols used to designate "Capital," "County Towns," "Common Do.," "Railroads," "Do. in progress," and "Do. proposed," and also the scale used to indicate the distances between towns. The inset located on the left side of the map shows the "Western Part of Michigan." The perimeter of the map contains lines of latitude and longitude. The map is surrounded by a decorative green border. Text underneath the border on the lower left corner of the map reads "Entered according to act of Congress, in the year 1850, by Thomas, Cowperthwait & Co., in the Clerk's office of the District court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania."

- Clipping from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, dated April 16, 1859, featuring an illustration of the Firemen's Hall in Detroit and an accompanying article concerning a billiards match played there between John Seereiter and Michael Phelan. The illustration depicts the Firemen's Hall, which features a sign above the door reading "Firemen's Hall Library Reading Rom." Several people are depicted entering the Hall, and a horse drawn carriage is shown passing on the street. The caption underneath the illustration reads "Exterior of Firemen's Hall, Detroit, where the billiard match between Michael Phelan and John Seereiter was played, on Tuesday, April 12."

- One street map of Detroit and Eastern Wayne County that was published by the Topping-Sanders Company. The multicolor map is printed on paper at an approximate scale of 1.5 inches = 1 mile. It shows streets, street names, city and township boundaries, section numbers, railroad and streetcar lines, and recent street names changes in Detroit. Two inset advertisements in the upper corners promote the real estate company of "Drennan & Seldon, Inc." A large note in the lower left corner of the map shows "Dynamic Detroit - Two Million in 1930. Keep This Map and Watch the City Grow." The map was "compiled and drawn by Wm. Sauer."
