- This piece consists of many small fragments of woven wool fabric that were found together. Photo 13305P1; Some pieces are attached to each other with a dark brown goat hair sewing yarn. There may be at least three different fabrics in this photograph. Photo 13305P2; One larger fragment appears to be two pieces sewn together at right angles. The two pieces are similar but the larger piece has a 2-ply warp, the smaller piece has a single warp. Photo 13305P3; A ribbed selvedge without the balance of the fabric is included, as well as a very deteriorated rolled hem. Both have linen stitching. Photo 13305P4; There are many small pieces of yellowed woven wool fabric. The black and white photo on the accession card shows these fragments grouped closely together. They were evidently separated at some point. Some of the very small pieces, including bits of yarn, were not photographed.
