- One plan sheet entitled, "Joiner Plan, Crew's Quarters For'd. [Forward]." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a plan view of the layout of the crew's quarters in the forward section of the SS Naomi. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Dry Dock Company" at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated April 15, 1909. The plan number is shown as "1190."

- One plan sheet entitled, "Line Draft of F.&P.M. [Flint & Pere Marquette] Steamers No. 59/60." The drawing consists of black and blue ink on linen and shows the lines for the proposed wooden-hulled, propeller-driven, passenger steamships. The plan was prepared at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot by Frank E. Kirby for the Detroit Dry Dock Company and is dated May, 1882. (Steamer numbers 59 and 60 were the Detroit Dry Dock hull numbers for the passenger steamships that were known as F.&P.M. No. 1 and F.&P.M. No. 2, respectively.)

The telegram form is printed in black text on yellowed paper and has a message that is handwritten in ink that reads "Straight load two inch norway [lumber] for hall here to Detroit, no transfers. J. T. Barthwell."

- One blueprint drawing showing a survey for the "River Rouge Improvement Co." The drawing shows a boundary survey for an 8.64-acre land parcel that was part of Private Claims 226 and 496. The parcel abuts a Michigan Central Railroad right-of-way and the River Rouge Short Cut Canal. The drawing was prepared by "Herbert L. Russell, Civil and Consulting Engineer" at a scale of 1 inch = 150 feet and was dated December 4, 1912.

- One drawing entitled "Cross Section of Steam Ferry No. 53 for Mackinaw and Point St. Ignace." The drawing was prepared by the Detroit Dry Dock Company at a scale of 3/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated May 28, 1881. It consists of black ink on linen with light brown shading and has a red borderline. The drawing shows a half cross section view of the proposed wooden-hulled railroad ferry.

- One blueprint drawing entitled "U. S. Lake Survey, Detail of Intermediate Sweep Float." The drawing shows the design of a float (buoy) that was used as part of a sweep for obtaining water depth information. The sweep consisted of a line of 15 floats with flags, spaced at 100-foot intervals, that supported an underwater wire at a set depth. The line of buoys would then be dragged across an area of water by launches at each end of the buoy line. If the wire encountered any submerged obstructions, it would cause one or more float (buoy) flags to tip and thereby give an approximate location of an obstruction that could be investigated further. Such obstructions could then be plotted on the navigational charts that were produced by the Lake Survey Office. The plan is dated January, 1915.

The drawing consists of ink on linen and shows a plan view of the interior layout of the Orlop Deck for the passenger steamship, SS Alabama. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the ship was built by the "Manitowoc Dry Dock Co." for the "Goodrich Transit Co." and is dated 1909. The plan number, "5044," is stamped in black ink on the verso.

- One drawing entitled "Preliminary Lines for U. S. Fish Com. Str. [Steamer], Drawing No. 2." The drawing is done in black ink on linen and shows plan, profile, and section views of the hull lines for the proposed wooden-hulled tugboat. The drawing was prepared by the Craig Ship Building Company of Toledo, Ohio. It is shown at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot and is dated December 23, 1890. Handwritten text within a black ink stamp near the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 46-S5-0-1, Tube No. 1."

- "Number 20, Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. First Mortgage, 5 Per Cent, $5000 Registered Gold Bond" (20 of 30). The bond is printed in printed in red, green, and black ink on white paper that is watermarked "Broun-Green Beaver Bond." It has a decorative engraved green border with engraved images at the top that depict Lady Liberty and other figures that represent American industry and a bountiful harvest. Black, Old-English style text shows the company name, "Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co." and lists the terms of the bond issuance and repayment. The bond has been signed by "Harris T. Dunbar, President," and "Frederick C. Slee, Secretary," and is dated March 15, 1904. The 20-year bonds were due for repayment on March 15, 1924. A round, embossed company seal is located near the lower left corner of the bond. The verso contains blank spaces which have handwritten text that show the date and name in whom the bond was registered along with the signature of the company Treasurer. Other handwritten text and notes showed subsequent bond ownership reassignments with signatures.
