- One plan sheet entitled, "Shell Expansion, Fire Tug." The drawing consists of ink on linen and shows a starboard side profile view of the steel plate arrangement along the hull of the fire tugboat, George A. Wallace. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Ship Building & Dry Dock Co." at a scale of 3/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated December 21, 1915. The plan number is shown as "3632."

- Parallel folded brochure listing the 1919 Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company steamer schedule. The cover bears a painting of the CITY OF DETROIT III sailing away from a sun rise or sun set, as another passenger steamer travels in the distance. The back cover lists the schedule for the WESTERN STATES, EASTERN STATES, CITY OF DETROIT II, and CITY OF ST. IGNACE of the Detroit and Cleveland Division, the CITY OF DETROIT III and CITY OF CLEVELAND III of the Detroit and Buffalo Division, and the CITY OF ALPENA II and CITY OF MACKINAC II of the Mackinac Division. The interior contains a map of routes and a table of fares.

- One drawing entitled "Profile of Sandsucker, Hydro." The drawing consists of black ink on a heavy paper with a linen backing. It shows a starboard side view of the suction dredge, SS Hydro, including the hull, main internal pipes, deck cranes and conveyors. The name of the paper manufacturer, "E. D. Co.," and "Double Force, Made in Germany," is embossed along the lower edge of the paper. The number, "5300," is printed in blue ink near the lower right corner of the sheet.

- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Midship Section, Mexican River Steamer." The drawing shows a cross-section view of the hull and decks of the sternwheel river steamship. Dimensions of the various structural members are also shown. The title block indicates that the plan was prepared at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot and is dated January, 1902. The name, "H. S. Taft," is also shown and may be the name of the steamship.

- One hardcover booklet entitled "Lake Carriers' Association Certificate of Membership in Welfare Plan and Discharges." The pocket-size booklet has a dark blue cloth cover with white title text. Printed text on the inside front cover indicates that Arthur Page, an Able Seaman (Fireman), was enrolled in the benefit plan. The membership certificate "No. 101107" was issued at Detroit on September 6, 1922. The booklet contains 14 pages of blank lines that were to be filled in by ship officers to indicate the name of the vessel on which the seaman had served, rating, and dates of service. (One line is filled in with handwritten ink text which indicated that Arthur Page served on one Great Lakes steamship between September 7 and October 3, 1922.)

The telegram form is printed in black text on yellowed paper and has a message that is handwritten in ink that reads "Get the dock Monday morning; load as soon as possible. E. R. Tousley."

The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a starboard side interior profile view and also a main deck interior plan view of the Army Corps of Engineers tugboat, Manitowoc. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing (Hull No. 30) was prepared by the "Manitowoc Dry Dock Company" at a scale of 3/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated March 16, 1909. The plan number is shown as "5023."

- One navigational chart entitled, "Chart of Detroit River" that was compiled and published as part of the Survey of the Northern and Northwestern Lakes (War Department, Corps of Engineers). It was "Projected from a Trigonometrical Survey executed under the orders of Major C. B. Comstock, Corps of Engineers." The chart is drawn at a scale of 1:40,000 and shows the Detroit River from Wind Mill Point at the lower end of Lake St. Clair down to Pointe Mouillée at the lower end of the river. Land areas are shaded in pale yellow. River/lake areas are shown in white and pale green. Distances are given in statute miles. Soundings for lake depths are given in feet. Lines of latitude and longitude are shown in black. Lighthouses and buoys are also noted. An inset chart on the lower right side provides additional details of the ship channel in the vicinity of Amherstberg and the mouth of the Detroit River.

- One indenture, dated May 4, 1920, between the Canada Southern Bridge Company of Michigan and Canada, and Harris T. Dunbar of Buffalo, New York. The document consists of two pages of black typewritten text on white paper that has been watermarked "Agawam Bond." The text provided a legal description of Stony Island in the lower Detroit River and indicated that the Bridge Company had sold the island to Harris T. Dunbar for $1.00, but reserved a 150-foot wide strip of land for a future right of way. The document was sealed and signed on the second page by officials of the Canada Southern Bridge Company as well as by a Notary Public. The two pages were bound together in a legal-style, light green paper binder which has three brass grommets at the top edge. Typewritten text on the outside of the binder reads "Warranty Deed, Canada Southern Bridge Company to Harris T. Dunbar" and includes a blue ink stamp from the Wayne County Register of Deeds Office.
