The telegram form is printed in black text on yellowed paper and has a message that is handwritten in ink that reads "When will Hale [barge] be in Huron and when will Church be unloaded. L. B. Demass, 52 Griswold St."

- One navigational chart entitled, "General Chart of the Northern and Northwestern Lakes, Including New York State Canals and Lake Champlain," that was compiled and published by the U.S. Lake Survey, War Department, Corps of Engineers. The chart (No. 0) is a polyconic projection and is drawn at a scale of 1:1,200,000. It shows all of the Great Lakes region from Duluth, Minnesota, to Lake Champlain and the Hudson River in New York. General topographic details and notes are printed in black. Land areas are shaded pale yellow. Lake areas are shaded white or light blue depending upon water depth and also include contour lines for water depths in fathoms. Lines of latitude and longitude are shown in black. Lines of magnetic variation are shown in red. Principal lighthouses are shown in red and yellow. Information tables are shown on the right and left sides of the chart for U. S. and Canadian canals, dry dock locations, and annual lake level fluctuations. Printed text near the center lower edge shows "Aids to Navigation Corrected from Information Received to June 20, 1916."

The drawing shows a port side view of the sidewheel steamship while underway. The drawing was prepared at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot by F. W. Wheeler of West Bay City, Michigan, and is dated February, 1889.

- One blueprint drawing entitled "Passenger & Freight Stmr., Hull #104, Type Sections" that shows a cross-section view of the hull and decks of the proposed steamship (originally the SS Bainbridge and later the Algomah II). The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing, Plan No. 1, was prepared by the "Rice Brothers Corporation, East Boothbay, Maine." It was drawn at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot and is undated.

The conceptual drawing shows a port side view of the sidewheel steamship while underway as a small airplane flies overhead in the upper right corner. The drawing is signed by its designer, "Frank E. Kirby, 1910," in the lower right corner. A typewritten label in the lower right corner shows "Str. City of Detroit III, 'City of Detroit' - Picture, No. H 48."

- "Number 1, Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. First Mortgage, 5 Per Cent, $5000 Registered Gold Bond" (1 of 30). The bond is printed in printed in red, green, and black ink on white paper that is watermarked "Broun-Green Beaver Bond." It has a decorative engraved green border with engraved images at the top that depict Lady Liberty and other figures that represent American industry and a bountiful harvest. Black, Old-English style text shows the company name, "Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co." and lists the terms of the bond issuance and repayment. The bond has been signed by "Harris T. Dunbar, President," and "Frederick C. Slee, Secretary," and is dated March 15, 1904. The 20-year bonds were due for repayment on March 15, 1924. A round, embossed company seal is located near the lower left corner of the bond. The verso contains blank spaces which have handwritten text that show the date and name in whom the bond was registered along with the signature of the company Treasurer. Other handwritten text and notes showed subsequent bond ownership reassignments with signatures.

- One blueprint drawing entitled "Light House Depot at Detroit, Mich., Proposed Store House with Oil Cellar." The drawing was prepared at a scale of 1 inch = 4 feet and 1 inch = 8 feet and shows a water front elevation view of the proposed 3-story building. Plan views of the foundation and first floor are also shown. Handwritten text in the upper left corner of the sheet shows "Total amount of estimate to bring oil vault up to water table $16,525.82 - See Enclosure B with letter 308 - Engr. 11th Dist. Dec. 8, 1870." Handwritten text along the lower edge of the sheet shows "No. 308. Respectfully submitted with letter of December 8th, 1870," and is signed by "O. M. Poe, L.H. Engr., 11th Dist."

- One navigational chart entitled, "Manitou Passage, Lake Michigan." The chart was "Prepared from U. S. Surveys and first issued under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, in 1902." It was later revised and "published under the direction of Lieut. Colonel Mason M. Patrick, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, in 1915." The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:30,000 and covers about 20 miles of the Manitou Passage just north of Glen Arbor, Michigan. The chart includes information such as soundings in feet, lake bottom characteristics, shoreline details, lighthouses, lines of latitude and longitude, and sailing directions. The chart was printed in black ink on white paper and was published by the U. S. Lake Survey Office. Land areas are colored pale yellow and shallow areas of the lake are colored light blue. The chart was "Issued January 12, 1916" with "Aids to navigation corrected from information received to April 16, 1920."

- United States Inspectors' License to Pilots certificate, serial number 20641, issued to Charles A. Porter on May 4, 1912, certifying that he is a Special Class Pilot of lake steam vessels of 10 gross tons and under on the fishing grounds of Lake Huron. The certificate is signed by U.S. Local Inspectors of Steam Vessels for the district of Port Huron, Willis W. Stewart, the Inspector of Hulls, and Frank Van Lieu, the Inspector of Boilers. The inspector's signatures are also on the verso along with several other fields reaffirming information on the recto.
