- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Fire Boat for Detroit, Michigan." The drawing shows a port side interior profile view and main deck plan view of the proposed fireboat. A cross-section view of the hull lines is also shown along with a table of general dimensions. The title block in the upper center area shows that the drawing was prepared by "William Cowles, Constructing Engineer and Naval Architect." It was drawn at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated July 16, 1892. A black ink stamp with handwritten text in the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 57-59-0-3, Tube No. 1."

- One navigational chart entitled, "Preliminary Chart of Eagle Harbor, Lake Superior." The chart was "Surveyed and drawn under the direction of Capt. J. N. Macomb, Topl. Engrs. [Topographical Engineers] by Lieut. W. F. Raynolds, Topl Engrs., Assisted by J. U. Mueller, D. F. Henry, and J. Wallace, 1855" with "Aids to navigation corrected to February 29, 1889." The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:5,000 and covers about 2 miles of the shoreline along Lake Superior in the vicinity of Eagle Harbor, Michigan. The town of Eagle Harbor is shown along with an inset drawing that shows the approach to the harbor. The chart includes information such as soundings in feet, lake bottom characteristics, lighthouses, roads, and sailing directions. The chart was printed in black ink on white paper and was published by the Topographical Bureau of the War Department (later known as the Army Corps of Engineers). Small printed text in the lower left corner shows "Drawn for engraving by Lt. O. M. Poe, Topl. Engrs. and H. Gillman." Small printed text in the right corner shows "Engraved by W. H. Dougal."

The drawing consists of black and red ink on linen and shows details of the gangways on the sides of the proposed wooden-hulled, propeller-driven, passenger steamships. The plan was prepared by Frank E. Kirby at a scale of 1 1/2 inches = 1 foot by the Detroit Dry Dock Company and is dated May, 1882. (Steamer numbers 59 and 60 were the Detroit Dry Dock hull numbers for the passenger steamships that were known as F.&P.M. No. 1 and F.&P.M. No. 2, respectively.)

One steamship is moored to a wharf and three others are under construction nearby. Cranes and factory buildings can also be seen in the distance. A handwritten note near the lower left corner shows "View across Ashtabula Creek." The sketch is signed in the lower right corner, "Vernon Howe Bailey, Ashtabula, 19."

The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a half plan view of the structural deck frame arrangement for the proposed wooden-hulled, propeller-driven, passenger steamships. The recto advertises a "Summer Programme of Grand Excursions from Detroit to Port Huron, Toledo, Lakeside, and St. Clair City, on the floating palace steamer CITY OF DETROIT." An engraving of the CITY OF DETROIT passing the NORTHWEST is also featured. A map showing the regular daily and excursion routes of the D&C line, done by Edward Moliter of the Calvert Lithograph Company of Detroit is on the verso.

The view shows the hull, main deck, and superstructure as well as the hydraulic dredge pipe at the bow and spud pile at the stern. A title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Ship Building & Dry Dock Co." It is drawn at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated March 25, 1913. Additional text shows "Hull 60" and drawing "3491."

- One blueprint drawing entitled "Plan of Gallery - Deck, Str. City of Cleveland, No. 71." The drawing shows a plan view of the interior layout of one of the decks of the proposed steamship. The title block at the top center area of the sheet shows that the plan was prepared by the Detroit Dry Dock Company at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated August, 1885. (The ship was later renamed. It was the SS City of St. Ignace from 1907 to 1927 and was the SS Keystone from 1927 to 1932.)
