- Sepia-toned photograph depicting the manufacture of the nearly completed "pattern" Eagle Boat at the Ford Highland Park Factory, viewed from above, looking bow to stern. Its mast and chart house are installed and its lifeboat rests on the floor off of its starboard side. This boat served as the pattern for other Eagle Boats manufactured at the Ford Rouge Complex. This boat, after completion, was then disassembled and each was part given a code number and then used as a template for the other Eagle Boats. On the left, a man signs a sheet on a writing surface attached to the side of a fence, as another man waits. A sign posted beside the building reads, "Ford Motor Company Ship Yards, Entrance No. 10.
