- One plan sheet entitled, "Plan of Pilot House, Erie R.R. Tug." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows an interior plan view of the pilot house layout for the tugboat, Alice Stafford. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing (Hull No. 65) was prepared by the "Manitowoc Ship Building & Dry Dock Co." at a scale of 3/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated June 16, 1914. The plan number is shown as "1347."

- Colored lithograph entitled "Battle of Lake Erie. Naval Heroes of the United States" which is printed on white paper. The image shows a black and white drawing of the Battle of Lake Erie at the center which is surrounded by American flags and patriotic/nautical designs as well as oval insets that show the head and shoulders pictures of six men. The six men shown are: Oliver H. Perry, Stephen Decatur, Johnston Blakely, William Bainbridge, David Porter, and James Lawrence. Printed text beneath the image shows "Lith. & Pub. By N. Currier, 2 Spruce St., N.Y." Additional text shows "Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1846 by N. Currier, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the Southern District of N.Y." In the lower right corner, "No. 1" is also printed.

- One plan sheet entitled, "Rudder - SS Alabama." The drawing consists of ink on linen and shows a profile view of the rudder for the passenger steamship, SS Alabama. The plan was prepared by the Manitowoc Dry Dock Co. at a scale of 3/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated November 30, 1909. The plan number, "1000," is stamped in black ink in the lower right corner of the plan sheet.

- One blueprint drawing entitled "Plan of Ceiling Under Smoking Room" and "Plan of Main Ceiling." The drawing shows proposed architectural details in two of the public rooms in the passenger steamship, SS City of Detroit III. The name of the designer, "Louis O. Keil," is shown in the lower right corner of the plan sheet along with the date, "Dec. 10, '06." Several years after the ship was scrapped in 1956, the salvaged men's smoking lounge (known as the Gothic Room) was acquired by the City of Detroit and was reassembled in the Dossin Great Lakes Museum.

- One drawing entitled "Crossection of Toledo, Ann Arbor & North Michigan Railroad Car Ferry Steamers No. 1 & No. 2." Additional text indicates that these ships were under construction at the Craig Ship Building Company Works in Toledo, Ohio, as of June 6, 1892. The drawing was prepared by George Craig at a scale of 1/2"=1 ft. It consists of black ink on linen and shows a cross section view of the wooden-hulled railroad car ferries. Handwritten text and a blue stamp in the lower right corner show "Str. No. 55 & 56, No. 4-1" and "New Drawing No. Tol. 55-S11-11-3, Tube No. 1."

- One blueprint drawing entitled "Plan of Main Saloon - Promenade Deck, Str. City of Cleveland, No. 71." The drawing shows a plan view of the interior layout of the Promenade deck for the proposed steamship. The title block at the top center area of the sheet shows that the plan was prepared by the Detroit Dry Dock Company at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated August, 1885. (The ship was later renamed. It was the SS City of St. Ignace from 1907 to 1927 and was the SS Keystone from 1927 to 1932.)

- One letter, dated February 20, 1909, from Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company of Buffalo to Mr. W. G. Turner of Montreal. The carbon copy letter is typewritten in blue ink on yellowed vellum paper. The letter acknowledges receipt of a certificate for 95 shares of stock in the Abbey Effervescent Salt Company.

- Description:
- "Number 5, Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. First Mortgage, 5 Per Cent, $5000 Registered Gold Bond" (5 of 30). The bond is printed in printed in red, green, and black ink on white paper that is watermarked "Broun-Green Beaver Bond." It has a decorative engraved green border with engraved images at the top that depict Lady Liberty and other figures that represent American industry and a bountiful harvest. Black, Old-English style text shows the company name, "Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co." and lists the terms of the bond issuance and repayment. The bond has been signed by "Harris T. Dunbar, President," and "Frederick C. Slee, Secretary," and is dated March 15, 1904. The 20-year bonds were due for repayment on March 15, 1924. A round, embossed company seal is located near the lower left corner of the bond. The verso contains blank spaces which have handwritten text that show the date and name in whom the bond was registered along with the signature of the company Treasurer. Other handwritten text and notes showed subsequent bond ownership reassignments with signatures.

The drawing consists of red and black ink on linen and shows plan and profile views of the boiler foundation for the proposed vessel. The drawing is shown at a scale of 3/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated January 6, 1894. Printed text beneath the title shows "Craig Ship Bldg. Co., Toledo., O." Handwritten text within a blue stamp near the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 66-S11-13-1, Tube No. 2."
