- One map entitled "Map of St. Clair Flats, Michigan" that was "surveyed and drawn by Wm. C. Sauer, C.E. [Civil Engineer], 1897." The map is shown at a scale of 1:25,000 and is printed in black ink on white paper. Land areas are colored white and pale yellow. Water areas are colored pale green. The map provides a simple depiction of the islands, bays, and channels in the St. Clair Flats region at the lower end of the St. Clair River. Principal named islands include "Herson [Harsen's] and Stromness [Dickinson] Islands. Named channels include the Snibora, North, Middle, South, and Ship Channels. Small printed text along the South Channel shows the names of principal landowners and establishments such as the Old Club, Star Island Hotel, St. Clair Island Hotel, Joe Bedore's, and Muir's. A small inset map on the left side shows the St. Clair Flats and vicinity. Printed text in the lower right corner shows "Wm. C. Sauer, Civil Engineer and Map Publisher, 318 Fort St. West, Detroit, Mich." and "Copyright W.C. Sauer, 1897."

- One copy of a drawing entitled "Passenger & Freight Stmr." that shows a starboard side exterior profile view as well as plan views of the saloon deck, main deck, and hold of the proposed steamship (originally the SS Bainbridge and later the SS Algomah II). This copy is a negative image of the original drawing with line work shown in white on a dark gray background. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing, Plan No. 2, was prepared by the "Rice Brothers Corporation, East Boothbay, Maine." It was drawn at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated Nov. 7, 1921. A table of overall dimensions is shown at the center right side of the drawing.

The drawing consists of black ink on heavy tan paper and includes yellow, blue, and gray color tinting in selected areas. It shows a port side view of the Ann Arbor No. 1 railroad car ferry. - One plan sheet entitled, "Rail Plan." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a starboard side exterior profile view of the upper decks as well as plan views of boat and shelter decks for the proposed steamship hull numbers 123 and 124. Hull number 123 became the SS Cayo Mambi and Hull number 124 became the SS Cananova. Both ships were owned by the Atlantic Fruit Company. The drawing shows details of the construction and placement of all of the safety railings along the sides of the ships. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by "Manitowoc Ship Building Co." at scales of 1/4 inch and 1 inch = 1 foot and has a most recent plan revision date of April 7, 1920. The drawing number is shown as "5231."
