- Mounted black and white photo taken from an elevated position overlooking the crowd gathered in Grand Circus park to watch a southbound parade of streetcars on Woodward Avenue held to promote Timken streetcar trucks on January 8, 1931. A horse-drawn car leads a column of electric cars. Two newsreel film crews, including Hearst Metrotone News, shoot the parade. The sign for Fyfe's Shoes is in the background on the left. Central United Methodist Church stands in the center of the background, on the northeast side of the park.
