- One report entitled "Report on Earnings, Operating Expenses, Service and Rate of Fare - Detroit United Railway." The softcover report has a medium brown cardboard cover with gold-colored text for the title. It contains 77 pages of black printed text on white paper which give discussions, statistics, and costs concerning various aspects of the railway operations. A summary is given at the beginning of the report and recommendations are given in the Appendix section. The report was prepared by Barclay Parsons & Klapp, Consulting Engineers, in April, 1918, for the Board of Street Railway Commissioners of the City of Detroit.

- Complimentary Detroit, Lansing, and Northern Railroad pass issued to Adda R. Cavell in 1885. The pass is numbered "2," and is signed by the line's general manager John B. Mulliken. The card is printed in dark green on light green paper with an engraving of the Michigan State Capitol in the upper left. A map of rail routes through Michigan is printed on the verso, however it has been obscured by remnants of a paper to which the card was mounted.

The recto includes times for interurban streetcars between Detroit and Port Huron, effective September 5, 1900, as well as times for cars between Detroit and Mt. Clemens aboard the Shore Line Interurban, and four panels of text describing the lines and its stops. The verso is printed with a color map expanding across all six panels, credited to the Calvert Lithographing Company, showing the routes of both lines as well as highlighting cities, hotels, and landmarks along both sides of Lake St. Clair, and the St. Clair River. Streetcar number 102, the "Miantonoman" is pictured in an insert in the map.

The certificate was printed by the Calvert Lithographing Company and includes an illustration of a horse-drawn streetcar traveling along a street, and the seal of the State of Michigan. The certificate is signed by the company's president Frederick Buhl, and its secretary James S. Stridiron. The certificate also has vertical handwriting signed by Stridiron canceling the stock dated December 10, 1873. The form includes a form filed in with the stock's details along the left side, and a form filled in with information about the stock's transfer to E.L. Hineman on the verso.

- Car Report Envelope used by C.B. Bush and G.R. Casner, superintendent and train master of the Michigan Central Railroad's Jackson Junction. The recto, verso, and parts of the interior of the envelope are stamped with dates ranging from January 25, 1887 to June 15, 1893. "To be used for Car Reports only. R.R.B., Train Master's Office, Jackson Junction," is printed on the front of the envelope. A paper slip with a typewritten caption is attached to the bottom of the envelope, "Car report envelope used in early 1890's--C.B. Bush, Supt. G.R. Casner, Train Master."

Muir, the railway's general superintendent.

- Five Dollar note issued by the Erie and Kalamazoo Railroad Bank, dated August 1, 1853, hand-numbered 1671, and signed by the company's president Addison Comstock and another person with an illegible signature representing Toppan, Carpenter, Casilear, and Company. An engraving of Franklin Pierce is in the center of the note. At each of the upper corners, a seated woman supports an oval shaped field containing the number 5. The woman on the left holds a sickle and sits next to a sheaf of wheat. The woman on the right sits atop a barrel, and the masts of a sailing ship are visible over her shoulder in the distance. The verso is blank except for a pair of backwards red number 5's.
