Description:: The U & I Club ("U" for "utility" and "I" for "interest") was founded in 1885 by some of Lansing's socially-prominent pioneer families. It did not have a formal structure to the organization, and meetings were held weekly in the homes of members. This small collection contains minutes, club history, annual meeting programs, membership lists, scripts, songs, speeches, and other material.
