- One navigational chart entitled, "Chart No. 1 of River Ste. Marie from Point Iroquois to East Neebish." The area was "Surveyed under the direction of Captain J. N. Macomb, Topl. Engrs. [Topographical Engineers] in 1853, 1854, & 1855, with additions to date under the orders of Captain G. G. Meade, Topl. Engrs., 1857." - One navigational chart entitled, "Lake Superior Chart No. 3" that was compiled and published as part of the Survey of the Northern and Northwestern Lakes (War Department, Corps of Engineers). It was "Projected from a Trigonometrical Survey" that was executed under the orders of Lt. Col. W. F. Raynolds and Major C. B. Comstock of the Corps of Engineers as well as from local surveys done by Capt. J. N. Macomb, Capt. G. G. Meade, and Col. J. D. Graham of the Corps of Engineers. The chart is drawn at a scale of 1:400,000 and shows the western end of Lake Superior from Duluth, Minnesota, to the western end of Isle Royale. Land areas are shaded in various gray textures based upon existing land characteristics. Lake areas are shown in white. Distances are given in statute miles. Soundings for lake depths are given in fathoms. Lines of latitude and longitude are shown in black. Lighthouses are also shown along with notes for sailing directions, dangers and water level data. The chart was originally published in 1873, but a note indicates that aids to navigation have been corrected to January 1, 1880. An adhesive label in the upper left corner shows "Detroit, Mar. 5th, 1884, Presented to the Tug, Chas. E. Bird."

[Topographical Engineers] with corrections to date by Lieut. W. F. Raynolds, Corps Topl. Engrs. under the orders of Capt. J. N. Macomb, Corps Topographical Engineers, 1853." The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:30,000 and covers about 3 miles of the Fox River and about 6 miles of the head of Green Bay. The towns of Green Bay and Fort Howard, Wisonsin, are shown. The chart includes information such as soundings in feet, lake bottom characteristics, lines of latitude and longitude, shoreline details, roads, and sailing directions. - Navigational chart entitled, "Map of the Delta of the St. Clair [River]," that was compiled by Lieutenants J. N. Macomb and W. H. Warner "under the direction of Captain W. G. Williams, U. S. Corps of Topl. Engrs. [Topographical Engineers]." The survey work is dated 1842. The chart is drawn at a scale of 1:15,840 (four inches = 1 mile) and shows the area at the outlets of the North, Middle, and South Channels of the St. Clair River which flow into Lake St. Clair. The chart is drawn in black ink on slightly yellowed paper and shows shorelines, water depths in feet, marsh areas, navigational channels, a north arrow and magnetic north, and survey triangulation points. A small inset map in the upper left corner shows Lake St. Clair, the lower St. Clair River, and the upper Detroit River.

- One mylar copy of a map entitled, "Tracing from a Map of Springwells by Lieuts. Macomb & Warner, T.E. [Topographical Engineers], 1841, with the Addition of Outlines of Fort Wayne and Public Grounds, Sept., 1865." A signature beneath the title shows "December 12, 1865, (Sd) [Signed] T. J. Cram, Col. Corps Eng'rs." The map shows the existing topography along the Detroit River from the River Rouge to about 2 miles upstream from Fort Wayne. Several roads are shown including Main Road (now Jefferson Avenue), Wood Road, and Fort Street. Also, several mounded areas are shown in the vicinity of the fort which may be the Indian Mounds that were known to exist in the Delray area of Springwells Township. A small portion of the Canadian side of the Detroit River is shown in the area of Sandwich (Windsor), Ontario. A note in the lower right corner area of the map shows the scale as "1 Foot to a Mile" or 1:5,280.

The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:5,000 and covers about 2 miles of the shoreline along Lake Superior in the vicinity of Eagle Harbor, Michigan. The town of Eagle Harbor is shown along with an inset drawing that shows the approach to the harbor.
