- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Cross Sections for Detroit Fire Boat," that shows two cross-section views of the hull, deck, and interior piping of the proposed fireboat. The title block in the upper center area shows that the drawing was prepared by "William Cowles, Constructing Engineer and Naval Architect." It was drawn at a scale of 3/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated July 22, 1892. A black ink stamp with handwritten text in the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 57-511-11-1, Tube No. 1."

- One drawing entitled "Detroit Fire Tug, Detroiter." The drawing consists of black ink on heavy tan paper and includes red, brown, blue, and gray watercolor tinting in selected areas. The drawing shows a port side interior profile view and also a main deck plan view of the proposed fireboat. Notes on each side of the title show, "Keel Laid, Oct. 11, 1892" and "Launched, May 15, 1893." A black ink stamp with handwritten text in the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 57-59-0-1, Tube No. 1." The plan was prepared by the Craig Shipbuilding Company of Toledo, Ohio.
