- Color postcard Packard Motor Car Company, Detroit Mich. This vertical image shows an aerial view of the Packard factory. Verso: "Packard Motor Car Company Detroit, Mich, The Packard Motor Car Company is located on the East Grand Boulevard and the Belt Line Railway. The factory occupies forty acres of floor space including thirty separate buildings, and employs over 7,000 people. Daily output is ten complete pleasure cars and five two, three or five-ton commercial trucks. The power house is equipped to supply 8500 horse power, including two 3000 horse power Cooper engines." - 24 page, 1876 price list for Parke, Davis and Company. Sewn in a green cover bearing a lithograph of the Parke, Davis and Company laboratory on McDougall Avenue, Guion Street, and Atwater Street. Fluid extracts, sugar-coated pills, solid extracts, concentrations, powdered alcoholic extracts, elixirs, syrups, medicinal wines, granular effervescent preparations, granular and powdered effervescent mineral water salts, and spread plasters are listed within. A cut-away illustration of an abdomen demonstrating Dr. Wilson's Eureka Abdominal Supporter is featured on the last page.

- Color postcard depicting the lumber yard at the Murphy Chair Company, with a shed, barrel, and tracks visible. Printed on verso: Yard View. This card gives you a view of one of our lumber tracks, and is presented to show you the manner in which we store out boards to insure perfect seasoning. The shed shown extended to the right at the upper end and to the left at the office end, in shape like [zigzag line] and is 1946 ft. long with a storage capacity for 3,330,900 feet of lumber. The frame building is the yard Master's office. We shall take you through our entire plant with a series of these cards and trust they may be of interest to you. Murphy Chair Company, Detroit. - Frederick Stearns and Company invoice for 5000 "Pr Rx Pills," sold to P.J. Winn and Company of Fork Union, Virginia for four dollars plus twenty one cents in postage, stamped July 20, 1900. The invoice is printed on letterhead including lithographs of Frederick Stearns and Company's Detroit laboratory, Windsor laboratory, and New York Office, as well as a coat of arms with a shield divided party per chevron and charged with three crosses, and a bird as a crest. The letterhead lists Frederick Kimball Stearns as the president, Frank C. McLaughlin as the vice president and treasurer, and Thomas Bennett as the secretary. "Bill F Stearns," is handwritten on the verso.

Metal plates are leaned inside of bins along the sides of the aisle. A man stands at the window of a tool crib further along the aisle. In the background on the right, two Eagle Boats are under construction in the adjacent aisle. Scaffolding surrounds the hull of the nearest one. "26781-5-27-19," is printed in the lower right corner of the recto, and "assembling components at site of construction," is handwritten on the verso. The photo is mounted on a linen backing.
