- Color postcard depicting an aerial view of the Ford plant in Highland Park. Automobiles, smokestacks and water towers are visible. Printed on verso: The parent plant of the Ford Motor Company, located at Detroit, Mich., employs 65,000 men and produces parts for 8,000 cars a day. The first car was shipped from this factory January 1, 1910, and the Ten-Millionth Model "T" Ford came off the assembly line June 4, 1924. The plant covers 278 acres, of which 105 are under roof.

- Sepia-toned photograph taken to document the effort to set a new record time for boat construction through the manufacture of Eagle Boat No. 59, of the boat's pilothouse being put on after it has been partially rolled out the door of building "B" at the Ford River Rouge Factory Complex, as viewed from the ground off of its starboard side. The boat with the pilothouse would exceed the clearance of the door, so it is held above where it is to be attached by posts through its portholes connect to two poles which are anchored by ropes to the ground and the side of the building. A group of spectators watch the workers from below. A sign posted on the side of the boat reads, "Eagle No. 59, World Record, Built in 10 Days." "8B1," and "26406," are handwritten on the verso. The photo is mounted on a linen backing.

The boat has been dressed with its signal flags, and draped with banners. The towers of the launch elevator have also been draped with banners. Uniformed naval personnel stand on the boat's deck, and spectators watch from a walk way beside the elevator. "27529-8-15-19," is printed in the lower right corner of the recto.
