- One map entitled "Sketch of the Public Surveys in Michigan." The map is printed in black ink on white paper and shows the principal meridian and base line for the public land survey of the state along with township boundaries as well as township and range numbers. Printed text beneath the "Explanations" section on the lower left side of the map shows "Surveyor General's Office, Detroit, November 5, 1849. Lucius Lyon, Sur'r Gen'l." and "Lith. by E. Weber & Co., Balto."

- One diploma issued to Henry T. Hunt. The diploma certificate is printed in black ink on very yellowed paper and shows an engraved drawing of a Lady Liberty figure who is surrounded by four men that represent seafarers/shipping, business, farming, and industrial trades. Decorative script text shows "Business Colleges" and "This Diploma certifies that Henry T. Hunt has completed the prescribed course at this Institution and that his attainments entitle him to the consideration of the Business Community. Issued by the Detroit Business University at the City of Detroit, Michigan, this 27th day of April AD 1885. W. F. Jewell, Principal."

The schedule is divided into sections for freshmen, juniors, and seniors, and courses are held Monday through Saturday from 9:30 to 5. Pathology and practice, surgical anatomy, ophthalmology, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, and sanitary science are offered for seniors. Juniors are instructed in pathology and practice, descriptive anatomy, ophthalmology, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, materia medica, chemistry, physiology, practical anatomy, a chemical laboratory, and a histological laboratory. Freshmen take descriptive anatomy, materia medica, chemistry, physiology, histology, chemical physiology, practical anatomy, a chemical laboratory, and a histological laboratory.

- Sepia-toned photo postcard from a souvenir set from the 1923 water ballet and circus performance, "The Awakening," depicting the performance's set at Shadukiam Grotto Stadium at West Davison Ave and Dexter Boulevard. "'The Awakening' presented by Shadukiam Grotto, Detroit, 1923. 17420 chair seats, 1000 participants--water stunts, circus acts, ballets, fireworks. Conceived and managed by N.C. Chapman. Photo by MacGregor & Vallin," is printed on the verso. The set of three cards were housed in a beige paper envelope with "The Awakening 1923, Photographic Mailing Cards, Price $1.00 Per Set," printed on them, and "Ruth McMeans, 326 El Cerrito, Piedmont, Calif." handwritten on them.

The sheet is printed in black text on white paper on both sides and also shows colored drawings of various hats, helmets, coats, capes, and belts that were available for sale. The company was located at "261 and 263 Woodward Ave." and "114 and 116 Washington Avenue, Detroit, Mich." The items were intended for use at political and military conventions.

- Trade card from the Michigan Stove Company advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges. A lithograph on the recto depicts an elderly woman in a bonnet running a comb through the hair of a red-haired girl that is sitting on her lap. The card's title, "Patience and Impatience," is printed across the bottom of the recto. The Garland Stoves and Ranges logo is featured in the upper left corner of the recto. An advertisement for Garland Stoves and Ranges, stressing the importance of buying genuine Garland products, is on the verso. Written at the bottom of the verso is the name "Eliza."
