- Advertisement flier featuring the All-Star Jazz Combo playing at The Blue Tempo "House of Music" in Saugatuck, Michigan. The flier reads: "6 nights weekly. Jazz sessions Saturday, Sunday 3 P.M. 'Till 9." Also listed are the members of the band and at the bottom it reads: "The Blue Tempo. 'House of Music' Saugatuck." It is known as being one of West Michigan's first gay bars and had its peak popularity, circa the 1960s.

- Advertisement flier featuring jazz musician, Ira Sullivan, playing at The Blue Tempo "House of Music" in Saugatuck, Michigan. The description reads: "Chosen out of America's Top Jazz Musicians to do the Charlie "Bird" Parker Memorial Record Album (Released soon). Ira has played with the best Jazz Musicians of our times. To mention a few: Art Blakey "Jazz Messengers," Stan Getz, "Charlie Parker, Sonny Stitt, Horce Silver, Oscar Pettiford, Joe Jones, Max Roach, Miles Davis, Roland Kirk, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, and Many Many More." The flier is brown with age and the bottom highlights the different band members of the Blue Temp All Star Jazz Combo as well as dates for the music. Circa the 1960s.

The letter describes the different amenities offered at Douglas Dunes including an outdoor heated swimming pool, poolside sandwich and bar service, boat rentals, and dining at Sir Douglas. It also describes the area activities for guests and the 1981-1982 Fall and Winter rates.

- Two interior pages of Cruise entertainment publication featuring a "Cruisin' the Bookstore" book review and advertisements for historic LGBTQ bar and nightclubs. The publication features black, white, and bright yellow lettering. The left side of the pamphlet features a horizontal ad which reads: "December is Party Month. Backstreet, 15606 Joy Road, Detroit, 272-8959. 'After Hours' Every Saturday 'Til 5 A.M." The right side features an article entitled "Cruisin' the Bookstore" and a review of the book "Springwood" by Larry Parr. At the bottom of the page is an ad for a dance club called The Parsonage in Detroit.

- Nancy Crean's family bought a home in Saugatuck, Michigan in 1930. Throughout her childhood she remembers coming from Chicago to Saugatuck every weekend from April to November. She and her family still spend weekends in the family home throughout the summer. In her interview, Nancy remembers a massive influx of college aged people on holiday weekends in the 1960s. Nancy also recounts attending the 1968 music festival that was held in Douglas.
