- Medium-blue linen suit. Very little shaping to jacket; curved seams in front and back. Six-button front closure with 3/4-length sleeves, small cuffs and collar. Jacket is weighted. Sheath skirt has separate blue China silk petticoat. Clothing label: BALENCIAGA/10 AVENUE GEORGE V/PARIS. Handwritten on tag sewn on back of label: 45 121. A designer sample of this suit is worn by a Balenciaga mannequin in a 1956 photo. The Henry Ford also owns a design drawing of this suit.

- Woman's silk crepe cocktail dress with jacket in two shades of gold. The dress flows freely from the gathering of the round, piped neckline. Ties on the upper back criss-cross the front in the Grecian style. The panels of the dress alternate shades of gold. The jacket is bolero-cut with cap sleeves and piped edges.

This item was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.

- This Molded Wood Chair, in the collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, has a wood seat. The seat, backrest, frame, and legs are covered with birch veneer over the molded plywood. This product was first manufactured by Evans Products in 1945. Herman Miller became the distributor in 1946, and in 1949 the manufacturer.
Incorporating revolutionary principles in both design and construction, the molded plywood chairs designed by Charles Eames have been called "the most famous chairs in America. - This Indoor-Outdoor reclining chair with ottoman, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a sienna saran (plastic) woven fabric stretched onto the chair seat and back frame. The arms of the chair are black plastic coated and curve. The frame is made of a four blade, aluminum base with a black plastic pedestal and glides.
The ottoman is made of the same fabric and metal.

- This Arm Chair, in the collection of the New Jersey Historical Society, consists of thermosetting resin reinforced with a greige molded fiberglass arm shell on metal base. The base has four metal legs attached to the shell with black rubber shock mounts and has white plastic glides. - Long olive green skirt, wool garbardine, trimmed with braid on side of skirt. Fitted waist with multiple stitching, large decorative buttons on front, small patch pockets, pieced in back with large pleats, and tucks just below hip level. Circa 1870-1899.

- The simple bodice indicates that this dress was worn with a lace bertha and sleeve ruffles. The bust improvers, bodice construction and skirt are typical of the period. The dress was possibly remade from an earlier 1830s silk.

- This style of shoe was among Mrs. Firestone's very favorites; she wore it consistently for nearly two decades. This pair were likely custom made to match a specific outfit, now gone. Please note, she rarely wore black after 1930 and we have no black outfits owned by Mrs. Firestone from the 1950s.Born in Decatur, Illinois in 1897 Elizabeth Parke married Harvey S.
