- Nazi propaganda leaflet dropped on British troops. It is a fake airmail letter that one British G.I. had sent to another British G.I. complaining about the war and their experience in the army. It also, complains about the Yanks who are getting all of the attention over the British soldiers. It encouraged dislike for American soldiers.

- Liturgy O.C.S.O. was published by Gethsemani Abbey, Trappist, KY and edited by Father Chrysogonus Waddell from 1966-1999. The journal (at that time a newsletter) began after September 1965 meeting of the Liturgy Commission of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance to report progress in liturgical renewal after Vatican II. - Document was folded five times and severaly worn with several holes along folds., Ball-shaped “pendant” seal, attached, and made of red wax, on parchment tag bearing the device of a winged heart., Back of a seal attached to the indenture document of Samuel Ladd of Chartham, Kent, England to Thomas Jackson of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral for ₤400 and messuage, including cottage, two gardens, two orchards, and three acres of land in Chartham. Ball-shaped, red wax seal bearing the device of a winged heart., and Written in England and dated 8 April, 11 Charles I (1635). Four inscriptions on the dorse: two in an English secretary hand similar to the main text and two in a later crusive hand; the name of Elizabeth Ladd is mentioned along with the names Edward Nordey (sp?) and Godfrey Pyard (sp?). Formerly Phillipps no. 31801; the number “31801” located in center of dorse. Gift of the Department of History, Western Michigan University to WMU Special Collections in 1999.

- Propaganda leaflet dropped on fighting American soldiers. The cover shows an image of young boys singing in a Christmas choir next to a Christmas tree. The back describes how the men fighting the war have been breaking the commandment, "Thou shalt not kill." It reminds them how even choirboys get sick of fighting and eventually all start to sing in unison, and can't the men on the front learn a lesson from these boys?

- Oral history interview with Jean Friedel and Margie Miner, conducted by Thomas Coyne on March 21, 1995. Friedel and Miner discuss how they came to teach at WMU, the status of women’s physical education programs, the development of women’s physical education programs, the organizational structure of women’s sports, discrimination in sports, and the role of Title IX in women’s athletics. Jean Friedel coached seven women’s sports, including basketball, field hockey, volleyball, gymnastics and track and field, at WMU during her 29-year tenure, which ran from 1960-1989. Margie J. Miner was a faculty member from 1957 until her retirement in 1986. She began the Women's Recreation Association at the university. - Nazi propaganda leaflet dropped on American troops serving in Italy. It discusses the conditions that will be occurring in the upcoming fall along the river Po. In order to help with the boredom of endless rains it supplies the troops puzzle questions to keep them busy. The questions remind the soldiers of home and of the poor conditions of the war.

An additional parchment sheet (125 x 150 mm) attached by parchment tag., Inscription in a contemporary hand on the middle dorse: “[illegible word] Eliz ffarmer de Twywill.” Also in the middle center of dorse: “18/15?” in pencil., Front of a will, folded, of Elizabeth of Twywell, bequething seven pounds to son Thomas Farmer to release him from prison and 20 pounds to daughter Alice Farmer and John Farmer, son of Thomas Farther. To Diana, Elizabeth, Catherine, Rebecca, Lydia: 20 pounds and five portions of will. Names also mentioned include John, Mary, Thomas, and William Farmer. Signed in the presence of Thomas Nickallson, Sarah Smith, and Susanna Srigmore. Attached probate is dated 1701 and includes the name of Edward Caldwell. Notorial signature of “Geo: Maydwell.”, Written in lighter secretary hand., and Written in England, probably Twywell in Northhamptonshire. Dated 7 December 1700.
