Description:
Black and white drawing from 1855 of the original Harper Hospital, founded in 1863. A horse drawn carriage is visible on the road in the foreground, and six people are visible standing on the sidewalk outside of the grounds of the hospital. Nine hospital buildings are pictured in the background, with a flag pole standing between the third and fourth buildings from the left. Printed text underneath the image reads "Calvert & Co. Lith. Detroit." Mounted on cardboard.
