- Image of the north side of Western Knitting Mills with a hand-colored blue sky. The Western Knitting Mills factory was built in 1896 and produced knitted goods until 1939. The building was later owned by the McAleer Manufacturing Company, later known as the Higbie Manufacturing Company, and then ITT Higbie. In 1994 the Rochester Mills Beer Company restored the building and it now operates as a restaurant and brewery. Addressed to Bettie Branner of Harrisburg, Virginia from Papa.
