- Color postcard depicting ten firemen aboard an automobile, with buildings in the background. Printed on verso: The Detroit Fire Department is being rapidly fitted out with automobile fire fighters. This view shows one of the departments responding to an alarm and going through the street at a rate of 75 miles an hour in one of their 30 H.P. Packard Motors Cars. This machine, known as the 30 squad wagon and carrying 12 men, is equipped with hand extinguishers and can easily take care of incipient fires. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked May 1912.
