- One of the four original buildings on campus, located on South University east of the Presidents' house, where Clements Libary now stands. Used as Professor's house from 1840 to 1877 and as the Dental College from 1877 to 1891. East wing added in 1878. In 1891, the Dental School moved, the building was enlarged to the north, a third story was added, the entrance changed to the west, and "Engineering" placed over the door. Used by Engineeering from 1891 to 1922. After 1904 it was called "Old Engineering Building." Demolished in 1922.

- In 1906 intercollegiate activities shifted to north part of Ferry Field. Baseball diamond moved north to present site of Yost Field House. In 1923 with erection of Yost Field House baseball diamond moved west to its present location. In 1914 wooden stands from south side of football moved to diamond.

- Pewter statue stood on west side of S. State St. and was the gift of the Class of 1870. At left is Old West Hall, now the site of Betsy Barbour residence. At right is the First Congregational Church. Newspaper article, April 11, 1912, attached to verso with heading "It Was News Then."

- Albert Kahn and Ernest Wilby, architects. Constructed on the site of the old Winchell House on North University Avenue. The building was completed in 1913 and is named after Regent Arthur Hill, who bequeathed more than half the cost of the building. Originally seated an audience of 4,300 and housed the original Frieze Memorial Organ from 1913-1928. When the organ was replaced, the name was retained. The building was renovated from 2002-2004 by Albert Kahn Associates (Project Architects & Engineers) and Quinn Evans/Architects (Historic Preservation Architects).

Built jointly for the Engineering Society of Detroit and the University as an Extension Service facility in Detroit. Funded by the Horace H. and Mary A. Rackham Fund. Sculptures on exterior by Marshall Fredericks.
