Printed on verso: The Swan Pond on Belle Isle is a very interesting attraction and the enclosure is always crowded with people watching these graceful creatures gliding in and around the various canals. - Color postcard depicting a view along Central Avenue on Belle Isle filled with many pedestrians. In the foreground is a round flowerbed. Printed on verso: Central Avenue, Belle Isle, Detroit's principal recreation spot, is an island in the Detroit river connected with the city by a bridge, 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boasts over 20 miles of fine macadam roadway which completely circles and frequently intersects it. A fine zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The City has expended over $1,500,000 on it since its purchase in 1879. - Color postcard depicting a crowd gathered for a concert at the Band Stand on a bridge over a canal on Belle Isle. People are seated along the shore and many canoes fill the canal. Printed on verso: Canal Scene, Belle Isle, Detroit, Mich. Canoeing is the leading sport at Belle Isle. Its 702 acres are covered by many miles of Canals and Lakes. When Free Band Concerts are in progress during the summer months, hundreds of canoes dot the different canals and make a pretty sight. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Apr 11, 1923.

Printed on verso: Belle Isle is in the Detroit River, between Detroit and Windsor, Canada. The Island contains 702 acres and is entirely covered with one of the most beautiful parks in the United States, having some 21 miles of Macadam Roads; a magnificent Casino, Pavilions; Boat Houses, Aquarium; Horticultural Hall and Zoological Gardens. The Island was purchased by Detroit in 1879 and has since then expended $1,600,000 in beautifying it. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jan 12, 1921.
