- Mounted, sepia-toned photographic print taken of the corner of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue from an elevated position in Campus Martius, facing northwest. The streets are filled with crowds of people and a row of horse carriages is proceeding west on Michigan Avenue, possibly as a funeral procession. Visible signs on storefronts include, Job Printing, a jewelry store, and L.L. Farnsworth's Shoe Store in the corner building. To the right, in the Fisher Block is Randall's Daguerrean Gallery, and in the neighboring building, Weber Furniture Company's Warerooms. "Campus A.D. 1870" and "Detroit, Mich." are handwritten in marker in the photo's upper left and right corners. The photo is mounted on black cardstock with an embossed frame around the photo. "C.C. Brewe, Com'l Photographer, 205 Griswold St. Detroit, Mich" stamped on verso. "Mrs. Roy Chatfield" handwritten on verso along with an illegible address.

- Mounted sepia-toned photographic print depicting the north end of Campus Martius as viewed from an elevated position. Roesink Clothes, the Detroit Opera House, Norton and Company, Bond's Clothes, Kaufman Hats, United Cigars, a restaurant with a sign that simply reads, "Lunch," are in the midground. The Merrill Fountain, the bust of Governor John Judson Bagley, a tent labeled "War Camp Community Service," pedestrians, automobiles, small buses, and electric streetcars are visible in Campus Martius. Along Monroe Street in the background are the Ste. Clair Hotel, Garry's Clothes Shop, the Palace Theatre, the National Theatre, Dr. Pilmore's Dentists, and the other pool halls, and loan offices of the Monroe Block. Billboards for the Thompson Auto Company and Velvet Tobacco are posted. The photo is affixed to a heavy black cardstock backing, and remnants of blue tape surround it. "Walker & Co. Electric Sign" is handwritten along the bottom of the matting. "1918" is handwritten on the verso.

- Sepia-toned photo mounted on a black cabinet card with gold trim bearing an image taken during the 1891 National Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic in Detroit. The view is across Campus Martius, filled with people and decorated with flags, facing northeast down Monroe Street. In the background, the Detroit Opera House, indicated with a blue "X," is visible. On the other side, stands the Monroe Block. In the foreground, marked with an "O," are the steps to City Hall. Nearby on the right is fountain topped with a statue of a woman. "Detroit Opera House (left X) & square front of City Hall, Detroit. (Taken so ? stand front of City Hall shows O). I went to Detroit Opera House all thru my youth. - Mounted, sepia-toned photographic print depicting the construction of the Central Market Building in Campus Martius on Michigan Grand Avenue or Cadillac Square. Before it stands the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, missing the eagle statues on its lowest pedestals. To the left of the Central Market building is McLennan and Company Dry Goods. On the opposite side is the Russell House, which also houses M. Horowitz and Company Crockery, and the Russell House Bazaar. A business advertising "wholesale liquors," is visible further down Cadillac. The photo is mounted on beige cardstock and has "1880" written on the verso.

- Sepia-toned photograph of City Hall, as taken from the center of Campus Martius, decorated with American flags and patriotic banners, as well as a sign that reads, "Welcome Admiral and Mrs. Dewey," to greet the visiting Spanish-American War hero George Dewey. An elevated seating box is set up on the sidewalk in front of City Hall. Pedestrians and horse-drawn carts are in the streets. A moonlight tower stands along the right edge of the frame.

A sign posted on the southern face of the building advertises, "boots, shoes, and rubbers." Signs for Marratt's photo studio, and J.L. Hudson's clothing visible on the sides of their respective buildings in the background. Streetcar tracks run along Michigan in the foreground, and numerous pedestrians are in view. The card has a burgundy border with a gold edge. A Kodak mark and a floral pattern are printed on the verso of the card.
