- French prisoners of war and German non-commissioned officers pose in front of a wagon filled with recently arrived parcels outside of the Post Office at Erfurt. A pile of parcels stands to the left behind the prisoners. German censors will inspect all of these packets before they are distributed to the prisoners. The photograph shows a number of buildings in the prison compound as well as the wagon that transported the postal materials.

- This 20-Pfennige postage stamp for mail within the confines of the prison camp at Erfurt. The stamp carries an image of the German imperial eagle and identifies the camp's location in the XI Army Corps district.

- French officers sit to the right on the sidelines of a tennis match at Erfurt, as French and Russian enlisted men stand to watch the game. One of the players stands to the left with his tennis racket in his hand.

- A Russian officer is buried outside the prison compound at Erfurt. Russian prisoners and German officers attend the funeral, along with a Landsturm guard of honor standing in the background. There are two open graves, but a priest, possibly Protestant Minister Charles Correvon, stands to the right next to the coffin of the dead officer and leads the service.

- French and Russian prisoners practice a fire drill at the prison camp at Erfurt with the camp's fire engine. Two prisoners man the pumps to the left while the other POW's have run out the hoses. Several German non-commissioned officers supervise the exercise.

- Members of a French gymnastics club at Erfurt exercise on the high bar in the compound of the camp. One prisoner is swinging on the bar and another is landing in a dismount to the right. Two German soldiers and the club members observe the performance. Some of the camp's two-story buildings stand in the background.

- In the interior of the library at Erfurt, four French and Belgian prisoners stand reading books. Books line the shelves of the wall behind the prisoners while journals and magazines line the wall on the right. Note the POW identification badges on the upper left arms of the prisoners.

- German doctors and French and Belgian orderlies minister to patients in the hospital ward at Erfurt. Many of the patients appear to be Russian POW's, each enjoying their own metal frame bed. The facility is new and includes a stove in the center of the ward.
