- A portrait of members of the Everett family. Lansing's Everett High School was named for this family. Roswell Everett was an early settler whose 1841 home on West Miller Road still stands. Seated in front row: Elmer, Cyrus, Henry, Ransom. Standing in back row: Cynthia, Sarah, Elizabeth, Kate, and Phoebe. On back of photograph: "Four sons and one daughter of Roswell Everett. Original from Dr. Richard Halik."

- A real photo postcard of several members of the Frey family. Written on the back of the photograph: "John Freys- Amil, Emma, Anna, Arthur. Mr. J. Frey. Mrs. Frey. Sister J Mrs. August Frey (Anna Maria)." The Lansing City Directories for the late 1800s and early 1900s do not list any Frey other than the blacksmith George Frey. These may have been his relatives.
