The next layer (B) has yellowed warp with yellowed weft on one side and blue/purple weft on the other. B is sewn to C at right angles. - Tapestry roundel with yellowed warp and purple weft. There are linen slit tapestry motifs near the outside edge. Linen weft-wrapping was used for patterning within the roundel but is now very deteriorated. Approximately 2/3 of the roundel was woven with a dark purple and the other 1/3 with a lighter purple. A small amount of the yellow ground weave is present around the outside of the roundel.
