- Small sepia-toned photographic print captioned on the verso as "Mt. Elliot Ave. looking south from Grand Boulevard, March 10th, 1918." The view is along the center of Mount Elliot Avenue. Two sets of streetcar tracks run along the center of the street. Snow covers the ground. Several billboards are on the east side of the street. Those not obscured by utility poles advertise oil and tobacco. Behind them is a restaurant indicated by a sign which simply reads, "Eat.' Several homes and businesses are on the west side of the street as well. A young girl stands near a utility pole on the right. Two more pedestrians, and two automobiles are visible in the distance.

The cover is printed with the signatures of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and decorated with a red embossed adhesive seal bearing the hotel's crest, attached to a blue ribbon. The recto lists oysters, hors d'oeuvres, soups, fish, steaks and chops, poultry, specials, vegetables, potatoes, cold meats, salads, and desserts. The verso declares that the hotel is a member of the United States Food Administration, and urges the conservation of food for the war effort. Additionally, a disclaimer on the verso cautions that the management declines responsibility to damage to clothing caused by accidents in the dining room.

- Ribbon-bound Christmas dinner menu from the Hotel Wayne. The menu's cover is printed with the message, "A Bright and Happy Christmas to you and Good Luck," beside an image of a clover, a candle, and a swastika, all contained in an embossed border surrounded by embossed bells, ribbons, and holly. An image of bells, and a wreath over a snowy landscape is printed on the first page. A program for a performance by The Straub Sister's Orchestra directed by Veronica Straub, and a menu consisting of oysters and clams, soups, relishes, entrees, roasts, potatoes, vegetables, salads, pastry, and dessert follow.

- Black and white photograph of the cafe within the Russell House. A partially open wooden door with a leaded glass window is on the left. Against the wall to the right of the door is a dining table beneath a white table cloth. Glassware and plates are on the table. The table is surrounded by two chairs with leather upholstery on the seat and backrest, as well as a third chair with a triangular seat, and a semi-circular piece that extends around the chair to serve both as the arm rests and the back rest. The walls consist of tiled panels between wooden molding. Above the molding, a mounted deer's head, a mirror, and painted banner motifs bearing the text, "Bid them cover the table, serve in the meat," decorate the upper portions of the wall. The recto is signed with the initials, "F.S." "Russell House," is handwritten on the verso.

- Breakfast menu card from the Russell House, dated Thursday, December 19, 1901 with a tear-off postcard attached at the top. The card is printed on beige paper, with an image of the hotel's crest beside a small half-tone head-and-shoulders portrait photo of D.W.H. Moreland flanked by a color illustration of a man and woman standing beside opposite ends of a horse-drawn carriage, providing the face of the postcard. The menu is printed in green below. Mailing instructions, and space for addresses and stamps are provided on the verso.

A china cabinet stands against the wall behind the table. A chandelier incorporating antlers as well as a carved wooden figure of a woman is hung above the table. Two other dining tables are on the right edge of the photo. The recto is signed with the initials, "F.S." "Russell House," is handwritten on the verso.
