- One architectural drawing entitled "Front Elevation." The drawing (Job 259) consists of black ink on linen and shows a front elevation view as well as a wall cross-section detail for a proposed 2-story, 4-family apartment building. This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of nine sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," for "Mr. James A. Dant, Owner, Detroit, Michigan." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details. A red ink stamp near the left edge shows "Plans Examined and Approved. Mar. 6, 1915. Department of Buildings, City of Detroit, By H. C. Slater." The building was located at the southwest corner of Lothrop Street and Second Avenue (where the north end of the Fisher Building is presently located).

- One set of architectural "Specifications for Mr. James A. Dant for a Brick Veneered Four Family Flat Building Located on the Southwest Corner of Lothrop and Second Avenues, Detroit, Michigan." The specifications (Job 259, Set No. 3) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy tan paper and includes typewritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 67 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.

The number, "M-9266," and date, "2-8-22," are written along the lower right edge of the image.

- Color photographic postcard a night-time view of the repurposed three-story Second Empire house at 4470 Second Avenue. Mannequins wearing dresses are displayed in the first floor window for a clothing store within. A passage about the former home's new usage is printed on the verso: 4470 Second. Situated on land owned by Lewis Cass, former Michigan Governor, and adjacent to the West Canfield Historic District, and bordering Wayne State University, this colorful Victorian Mansion, built in 1883, now houses shops, apartments and offices, and is part of the Renaissance Movement in Detroit. Also printed on the verso are publishing and printing information, "Pub. & © Allen Strass - Yout Qualified Photographer - Detroit, Mich.", and "Made by Dexter Press, Inc., West Nyack, New York."
