- Woman's winter coat of black novelty wool with Russian sable collar, and wide lapels. The coat is double breasted, has long narrow sleeves, and six black plastic disc buttons. One large patch pocket is on each side. The coat has a heavy ivory satin lining, and two mother-of-pearl buttons inside. Label: Traina Norell, N.Y., and Julie, Inc. Fisher Building Detroit.

- This woman's evening dress has a black crepe bodice and a pink and gold striped taffeta skirt. It has padded shoulders and long, sleeves zippered at the wrist. The v-neck is repeated in the wide angle V of the waistline and stripes of the skirt. There is a side zipper. Label: 'Lizzette Mammoth, Book Bldg., Det.' "New York Creation, New York Dress Institute." Donor said she purchased dress at Walter's in Detroit in 1937, but it has the Mammoth label, and the NY Dress Institute wasn't organized until Nov. 1940.

- This straight, pinkish beige jersey women's evening coat has elaborate pink and gold braid trim. There is a small, high double turnover collar suggestive of a mandarin. The coat has a one button closing, and a beige lining. Label: "D. J. Healy Shops, Detroit."

- This woman's coat has knit strips of white wool yarn and white silk floss. The collar and cuffs are of white chenille with flowers of white chenille edged with grey chenille. There is one button at the lower left front. Label: "Pack-Wolin, Detroit."

- According to the donor, this suit was worn by Richard Royhans Johnson for his first communion, most likely at Visitation Church in Highland Park, Michigan (Johnson was born in Marion, Indiana in the spring of 1941 or 1942). It is a nice example of a shorts suit for a boy moving up from a knicker suit.
