- This collection contains photographs related to the interurban rail line between Lansing and St. Johns that was contracted April 23, 1900, and had its last run May 18, 1929. It began as the Lansing, St. Johns & St. Louis Railway company and changed hands (and names) several times before ending service. The photographs were collected by Michael Reed for a display at a youth talent show. Most of the photographs are prints made from glass negatives that were taken by Emery Hamilton, who worked on the line. They are not dated and some of the location information may not be accurate.
